COVID-19 Update

As a Precaution, all events and meetings at Deltona Presbyterian Church are canceled effective immediately until further notice.

The DPC Session will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates by email, website notices and telephone calls for those who do not have access to the internet.

God is in control and will provide a resolution as he does in all situations. God also expects his flock to make wise decisions and to take care of our family. Canceling on site engagement is a proactive step.

If there are any questions or a need for assistance please call the church office, reach out to a session member or Pastor John. Phone numbers are located on the back of the bulletin every week.

Please read your email, check the website, pick up phone calls or listen to your voicemails for updates. Also, check on each other. We all have a responsibility to love each other and stay in touch.

John McLaurin

John McLaurin

At the heart of ministry is the care and love of the fellowship. For our pastor John McLaurin - the relationships with the congregation and the resulting care of the flock is the top priority. He is quoted as saying "People will forgive pastors for all kinds of failures but they have a hard time forgiving us when we don't love them". John's life in the real world was great preparation for ministry and particularly at a church with the great diversity of people at DPC. His wife Mary married 17 years and he was formerly CEO/President of corporations from Manchester, England to Florida. John was called to be pastor at DPC in 2008. John was called to ministry as a Commissioned Ruling Elder and was installed as Pastor at DPC in 2008. His studies were completed Dubuque Theological Seminary.
